Night Before Christmas Box Ideas and Tips!
Tis the season to be jolly! I absolutely love the Christmas holiday, especially when it comes to creating traditions for our family. This year, both of our boys are old enough to be really excited about Santa Claus and all of the festivities throughout the month. So I decided that it was the perfect time to start a fun new tradition, by creating “Night Before Christmas” Boxes for each of them! Of course I knew that I had to head to our local Christmas Tree Shops to find all of the essentials. Christmas Tree Shops has everything you need for Christmas and more! With an ever changing assortment of affordable and stylish items, Christmas Tree Shops has got you covered for every season and every reason.
Christmas Tree Shops had a ton of great storage options for my Night Before Christmas box; from the cutest “Santa mail” box to this adorable Santa themed basket that I ultimately chose. Can you guys believe that this big, elaborate basket was only $12.99?! Score!
I wanted to go with a cozy theme for the boy’s Night Before Christmas boxes, as we typically spend our Christmas Eve enjoying dinner with our family, and then relaxing fireside with hot cocoa, and Christmas movies. These fuzzy throw blankets are the perfect cozy touch, with adorably festive patterns and the softest darn fabric in all of the land! They will be perfect to cuddle up with while we watch Christmas movies.
Sticking with the cozy theme, I was thrilled to find the cutest kids Christmas socks for only $1! and the softest holiday sweatshirts in the boys sizes.
Christmas Tree Shops had a fabulous assortment of super affordable Christmas activity books and story books (only $1.99 each!)
To keep the kids occupied, I added in some fun activities like this awesome paint your own wooden nutcracker set, mini gingerbread house kits, and a Rudolph activity box.
Of course no Night Before Christmas box would be complete without something sweet, so I added some festive star lollipops and cute cocoa packets.
I couldn’t pass up these little holiday t-rex sippy cups! They will be perfect for cocoa, juice or water all year long.
My boys love bath time, so I was super excited when I found these adorable reindeer and Santa loofahs. Anything that encourages stinky boys to get clean is fine by me! 😉
This Elf on the Shelf Mug Set was one of my favorite finds of the day, only $7.99 and so cute! We are actually introducing Elf on the Shelf to our boys for the first year this Christmas, so I know they will be excited to have mugs with their new buddy on them 🙂
I thought it might be cute to include a special holiday ornament in their Night Before Christmas boxes each year. This little red truck was only $2.99 and I know it will be a hit!
A pair of jingle bell antlers for Christmas Eve photos were the perfect finishing touch for the boy’s Night Before Christmas Boxes.
