It’s officially November, and anyone who knows me, also knows that Nov 1 marks the first day of the Christmas season in our home! Christmas is my absolute favorite time of year, and we love to enjoy the holiday season as long as possible! With Christmas prep in full force, I headed straight to Christmas
I had so much fun shopping in-store for Christmas Tree Shop’s Share the Joy event, and quickly filled my cart with a ton of festive holiday goodies!
This year I decided to add a little Christmas cheer to our kitchen by decorating this space around our apothecary cabinet, and creating the cutest little hot cocoa bar!
I hung this beautiful festive wreath from our antique window, I love the pop of red from the berries. I also added glittering flocked trees, an adorable LED lantern, this cute “joy” arrangement, and a vintage-looking tin and wood sign to the shelf. Can you believe that I got all of the items on this shelf for under $20?! Christmas Tree Shops had a fabulous selection of affordable farmhouse christmas items that were perfect for my decor theme!
I used one of my old tiered trays to create our hot cocoa bar. I added an assortment of beautiful, festive mugs (for under $5 each!) – complete with red striped straws for sipping. Then I tucked in a few sprigs of greenery, this adorable hot cocoa bar sign and a light up Santa on top! Christmas Tree Shops had a ton of cute holiday mugs to choose from, perfect for hot cocoa on a snowy day. I know that the boys and I will be cozying up to this hot cocoa bar plenty this season!
I just couldn’t pass up this ‘Farm Fresh Christmas Trees’ tin sign, it fit perfectly under the shelf and adds so much character to this space. I also added a cute wreath adorned tea towel, and Christmas mug on top of our antique kitchen scale. And of course, no Christmas scene would be complete without a big, snowy Christmas tree on display! Christmas Tree Shops had SO many wonderful little trees to choose from, but I just loved this natural looking fir with its snow-tipped ends, and tin bucket.
I’m absolutely loving the merry and bright vibes that these gorgeous Christmas pieces bring to our kitchen , and I hope that you enjoyed this early sneak peek of our holiday home!
